why a watering ring?

reach less. water around.

dense leaves and awkward corners can turn watering into a reach. pour from the side you can get to. the ring carries water around the pot and releases it through several cotton wicks.

good to know

questions, answered.

everything you may want to know before getting started.

how does the slow-drip watering ring work?

pour into the ring from a reachable spot. water travels around the reservoir and passes gradually into the soil through multiple cotton wicks.

is this an automatic watering system?

no. you fill it by hand. it slows and distributes each pour, so you still need to check the soil and refill when appropriate.

does it need a pump or tubing?

no. the ring uses cotton wicks and is filled by hand.

do i need to repot my plant?

no. the two-piece ring can be placed around an established plant inside a compatible pot.

how long does one fill last?

there is no fixed interval. release and refill needs vary with the wick setup, potting mix, plant and room conditions.

do i need to fill it to capacity every time?

no. capacity is not a watering recommendation. check the soil and use an amount suited to your plant.

are the wicks included?

yes. cotton wick and a threading tool are included with the two ring halves.

can i reuse the watering ring?

yes. remove and rinse it as needed, keeping the wick outlets clear of buildup.
